How to Win SBIR/STTR Grants

Miss the Charlottesville workshop in September? The Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) is hosting its next SBIR/STTR workshop Nov. 1 in Forest, Va. (near Lynchburg).

SBIR grants (Small Business Innovation Research) and the STTR grant program (Small Business Technology Transfer) provide $150K-$1M in non-dilutive early stage R&D funding to small technology firms. Eleven participating federal agencies use this program to fund early stage technology development that will help them meet their missions.

Upcoming SBIR/STTR deadlines include:

  • Dept. of Energy SBIR/STTR Oct. 16
  • NIH SBIR Contracts Nov. 13
  • NASA SBIR/STTR Nov. 29
  • NSF SBIR Dec. 3
  • NIH SBIR/STTR Omnibus Dec. 5
  • NSF STTR Dec. 20
  • DOD SBIR Jan. 16, 2013
  • Dept. of Transportation March 4, 2013

Produced by CIT, this workshop is led by one of the leading SBIR instructors/consultants in the country: John Davis of The SBIR Resource Center.
