Sponsored by the Center for Innovative Technologies (CIT), this session will provide insights into various sources available to university researchers to facilitate tech transfer and company start-up efforts. Companies that have used these funding sources will be featured in the discussion, which includes a panel of experts and a networking session at the end of the program.
The panel will feature: Tom Weithman, managing director of the CIT GAP Fund, Sara Toussaint from Allied Minds, Inc, Nancy Vorona, CRCF program director, Errol Arkilic, program director for the NSF Innovation Corps Program, Greg Fralish, president of iTiHealth and Eric Loth, professor and chair of U.Va.'s Aerospace Engineering.
Registration required. For Virginia-based University Researchers and personnel, this workshop is free. Cost to all others: $50.
